Why is H.O.P.E. Recovery Center needed?

How many people can say that they don’t have a friend or a family member that either is, or has been adversely effected by drugs or alcohol? It is estimated that in the U.S. there are already 18 million alcoholics, 4 million drug addicts, 16 million sex addicts, and 4 million addicted to food. Research has also proven that our correctional facilities are full and over flowing with mostly drug and alcohol related cases. The need has never been greater for this type of program.

How does H.O.P.E. Recovery Center differ from other programs

H.O.P.E. Recovery Center deals with both the head and the heart condition.  This means that when a man leaves this program he does not have the same head and heart that he did 60 days prior. We believe that without a change in your heart condition (the development of spiritual faith) there will be nothing to stop your head from leading you right back to the same old addictive patterns. The Bible tells us “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and that includes beating the demons of addiction. H.O.P.E.'s programming is focused on all aspects of healing: Mental, physical and spiritual.  H.O.P.E.'s programming also includes but is not limited to:

  • Individual Drug and Alcohol Counseling
  • Marriage Counseling
  • Family Therapy
  • Spiritual Counseling
  • Depression
  • Anger Management
  • Denial
  • Nutrition and Recreation Programs
  • Mentoring
  • Career Development
  • After Care
  • Relapse Prevention

Our intent is to rebuild lives, it is not just about beating addictions, but restoring families. H.O.P.E knows that it all starts with building trust.  Our goal is to take the time to build lifelong personal relationships and to be a continual source of love and support.

Where is H.O.P.E. Recovery Center currently located?

The H.O.P.E. Recovery Center is located at 147 Washington St. Rte. 11 in Limerick, Me. 04048, next to Faith Christian Church.

We are currently working on getting licensed through the state.  This state licensure will allow us to accept all types insurances.  Our goal is to not turn any one away.
